She always puts herself last
Believes all this pain will become
Just part of the past
So she’ll bleed out in silent
She’ll laugh though the pain
She’ll ignore the tears
Though they fall everyday
She doesn’t want anyone to see
What a mess she turned out to be
So she’ll say she’s ok
While blood flows from her veins
While tears stream from her eyes
And no one sees the real her
So they believe the white lies
They think it’s true
When she says “I’m fine”
The truth is she’s bleeding
And she’s not all right
And the truth is she’s crying
Each and every night
But if they don’t know that
They won’t worry
If they don’t know that
They’ll be ok
So she’ll find a way
To make it through the pain
And she’ll find away
To make it to a new day
